Do you burn the Sanctuary Lights in the plastic casing?

Yes, the sanctuary lights are designed to be burnt as they are. There is no need to remove the candle from the plastic casing. The plastic is heat resistant and flame retardant.

What ingredients do our altar bread contain?

Our Altar Bread is made free of soy, dairy and nuts of any kind.  It made with pure wheat flour and water.

Both Gluten Free Wafers and the standard Altar Bread (a wafer product) is baked free of gluten, dairy, egg, peanuts, fish and shellfish.  Could contain trace amounts of soy as the flour is manufactured in a facility that processes soy.  Could contain trace amounts of tree nuts as the flour is manufactured in a facility that processes tree nuts.

When will my order be dispatched?

Although we do our upmost to dispatch orders the same working day, all in stock items will be dispatched within 2-3 working days maximum. If the goods you order are not in stock, we will follow up the order with an email explaining the delivery timeframe. This is usually between 2-4 weeks, as the goods need to be ordered in from our suppliers.


Furniture or other related goods will be a little longer, due to weight and dimensions (approximately 5-6 weeks). However we will follow up your order with a more accurate ETA at the time, once confirming with suppliers. 


If you require goods for a special occasion, we will make every effort to ensure a timely delivery.

What is Palm Ash used for?

How will my order be sent?

Your order will be sent with Royal Mail or our courier service, DPD, depending on the weight or contents. 

For lighter orders, for example Altar Bread, Lighting Tapers, Candlewick etc. they will be sent on a standard 48hr tracked service with Royal Mail. If the goods are needed urgently, we can upgrade the service to a 24hr tracked service if necessary.


For heavier orders, for example Communion Wine, Sanctuary Lights, Candles etc. they will be dispatched with our courier service, DPD. DPD work on a next-working-day service. For delivery on a Saturday or a before 12pm service can also be applied for an additional cost. Please speak to one of our helpful sales team members.

How much is shipping?

Our shipping costs are based on the price of your total order. 

Orders between £0.00 - £19.99 = £2.75 plus VAT (£3.30)

Orders between £20.00 - £59.99 = £5.50 plus VAT (£6.60)

Orders between £60.00 - £119.99 = £9.16 plus VAT (£10.99)

Orders £120.00 and above will be FREE delivery.

Additional delivery costs may apply to furniture or other related goods, due to the weight and dimensions of the consignment. This will be confirmed at the time of placing the order.

Returns & Refunds

Can I cancel or amend my order?

Orders can be cancelled or amended up until the time of dispatch. If the order hasn’t left our warehouse, we can of course make any necessary changes. 

If the order has been dispatched, we will still do our upmost to assist you with any changes that need to be made. 

What is the returns policy?

We will be happy to replace any defective items. If an order is no longer wanted, or the wrong item is ordered, you can return to us within a 14 day time period and we will credit you once the order arrives back with us. Items returned without prior approval may not be credited to your account. Please contact us regarding any return enquiries and we will assist you further.
